Heat Alarm. Alkaline Battery. Interconnectable
The Ei103C Heat Alarm is a class A heat sensing device designed for domestic dwellings. The alarm gives a fire warning when it senses an ambient temperature of 58°C. Heat alarms are recommended for use in kitchens and garages, where the use of smoke alarms may lead to unwanted nuisance alarms.
The battery removed indicator is a very important safety feature of this alarm. If the battery has been removed a pop up warning flag appears and it is not possible to replace the alarm cover until a new battery has been fitted.
The Ei103C Heat Alarm is fitted with a ‘Test’ button to facilitate frequent testing of the alarm. When the battery is nearing its end of life the alarm will emit a short beep every 40 seconds to indicate that the battery needs replacing.
The alarm may be hardwire interconnected with up to 12 other 9V battery powered Aico alarms provided they have the interconnect feature.
The alarm must not be used as a stand alone alarm and must be linked with other smoke alarms in the property.
